Rental
Are you looking for a light-filled space to develop your ideas? Then you’ve come to the right place. In our spaces, you can devote yourself to your own projects without being disturbed. They’re ideal for seminars, workshops and conferences – but also for theatre and dance rehearsals, as a studio, or for office work at individual workstations. The rooms and workstations can be hired by the hour, day or week.
Please note that only our discussion forum ZENTI can be hired individually. The other two rooms can only be used if the entire venue is hired.
Rooms
Three views – side by side, calm, clear.
ZENTI Dialogue Room
At 36 square metres, this is our largest room. It has a dance floor – and can be converted into a seminar room in no time at all.
NISCHL Workshop Room
Ideal for workshops and seminars – with a large screen and plenty of space for creativity.
SCHLOSSI Lounge
A quiet spot to take a breather – or ideal as a dressing room for theatre rehearsals.
Co-Working
Two types of workspace. All workspaces are equipped with, at a minimum, access to a printer/scanner, Wi-Fi, adequate lighting and a power supply.
Permanent jobs
fully equippedIn addition to the basic equipment: monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam.
Mobile workstations
flexibleCan be folded up and down – providing more seats without restricting the use of the rooms. Workstations are available in all our rooms.

Facilities
Tables, chairs, screen, dance floor. Can be customised to suit your needs. Free access (24 hours) and a small communal kitchen. Toilet with nappy-changing table. Workstations equipped with a monitor, webcam, keyboard, mouse, printer/scanner and Wi-Fi.

Location
You’ll find the Gründungsgarage Chemnitz at Jakobstraße 46, 09130 Chemnitz. Our premises are accessible via a flight of stairs and are accessible for people with disabilities. The toilets are not accessible for people with disabilities. There is ample parking available in the surrounding area. You can reach the Gründungsgarage via bus route 82 (Uferstraße or Zietenstraße stops) and tram route 5 (Tschaikowskistraße stop).

A place of retreat, without having to do without the city’s amenities. Right next to the Stadtwirtschaft, on the southern Sonnenberg, you’ll find, amongst other things, artists’ studios and the Off-Bühne theatre COMPLEX, the Reading Café COFFEE GROUNDS as well as the trendy pub LOKOMOV.
