How does it work?
From the 2 March to 12 April You can apply for the 2026 scholarship programme – we look forward to receiving your application!
We’d like to find out a bit about you: What drives you? What have you been doing so far? What makes you stand out? Why do you want to bring this idea to life now? Tell us about yourself, your idea and your motivation in the application form and send it to us at gruendungsgarage-chemnitz@asa-ff.de. Important: If you’re applying as a team, every member of the team should apply to us.
Applications will be assessed and shortlisted. We will then shortlist start-up ideas that are a good fit for us. We will be assisted in this process by a panel of judges.
We’re inviting a group of founders and teams to come and meet us in person. You’ll briefly present your ideas to us and a panel of judges in a supportive atmosphere and convince us of your motivation! If it’s a good fit, we’ll let you know. After that, our programme gets underway.
- You’re a young go-getter aged 18 or over.
- You have a social, environmental and/or cultural start-up project.
- You are in the start-up or implementation phase of your idea.
- You live or have your business registered in Chemnitz or the surrounding area.
- We primarily, though not exclusively, support projects in the cultural and creative sectors.
For us, diversity is important not only in terms of the start-up ideas, but also among our participants. In our programme, we welcome participants from all walks of life – with diverse geographical, ethnic and social backgrounds, religions and worldviews, sexual orientations and identities, age groups, genders and disabilities.
