Role-based working: rethinking the organisation of work

How can roles, responsibilities and decision-making processes be structured in such a way that collaboration is efficient, transparent and sustainable? This themed network meeting will focus on sharing ideas about role-based working and self-organised structures. Together, we will discuss experiences, challenges and practical approaches to ensuring that work organisation remains reliable and sustainable, even within dynamic projects.

Organisational decision-making always involves risks. In this training course, participants learn to systematically identify, assess and manage risks responsibly. AI – Responsible use and risks for clubs and SMEs

Artificial intelligence offers associations and organisations working for the public good a wide range of opportunities to streamline processes and use resources more efficiently. This training course covers the fundamentals of using AI responsibly and securely, and examines key issues such as data protection, copyright, transparency and liability. It also highlights potential risks and sets out approaches for embedding AI expertise within the organisation in the long term.

Held in a relaxed atmosphere, this networking event offers the opportunity to speak directly with representatives of the SAB. Together, participants will discuss funding opportunities, current programmes and experiences with the application process, as well as forge contacts for future projects.

Sustainable communication, both internally and externally

This training course teaches participants how to ensure that sustainable communication is credible, transparent, responsible and based on trust. The focus is on building long-term relationships through respectful communication within the team, as well as consistent and authentic communication with external stakeholders that is consistent with the organisation’s own values and actual actions. Furthermore, the risks of social washing and greenwashing are examined, and ways are highlighted to ensure honest and credible communication in the long term.

What is the Economy for the Common Good (ECG)?

The Economy for the Common Good (ECG) is an approach that rethinks economic activity: success is not measured solely by financial profits, but by the contribution a business makes to the common good – that is, to people, the environment and society.

The aim is an economy that places cooperation, solidarity, environmental sustainability and social justice at its heart. Companies that are guided by the values of the Economy for the Common Good (GWÖ) ensure that their processes are transparent, fair and responsible – towards their staff, customers, suppliers and the local region.

In this way, economic activity becomes a driving force for social change and sustainable development.
