Programme & Application for female founders and entrepreneurs
Gründungsgarage_F is a programme specifically aimed at female founders and entrepreneurs who want to tackle societal challenges through their ideas. Whether in the social, environmental, creative or cultural sectors – Gründungsgarage_F offers you the space and support to turn your vision into a business.
Participation is flexible and designed to last between six and eighteen months. Children are always very welcome. Childcare is not available – you can support one another, bring your children along, or arrange for another carer to be present.
The programme will be launched for the first time in June 2025. You’ll find out more when we meet in person.

Our range includes
We support and coach you in your social, environmental, creative or cultural start-up venture or existing business with a social impact.
We empower you as a female founder or entrepreneur and take you and your ideas seriously. We encourage you to achieve your goals, value your development and reinforce your strengths.
Our mission is to raise the profile of businesses founded by women and to strengthen the region’s innovative capacity.
Applications can be submitted with immediate effect by email to gruendungsgarage-chemnitz@asa-ff.de This can only be done using the application form.
Tell us about yourself, your idea and your motivation in the application form and send it to us.
Once submitted, the applications will be assessed and shortlisted. A panel of judges will assist us with this process.
We are inviting the shortlisted candidates to an initial interview.
Who can take part?
- You have an East German and/or migrant (family) background.
- You are a female founder or entrepreneur.
- You have a social, environmental, creative or cultural start-up idea or venture that makes a difference.
- Family commitments (children, relatives, etc.) are not a problem.
- Residence or registered office in Chemnitz and the surrounding area.
